Our Church

About Us

A Mennonite fellowship gathered around one great truth: in Jesus Christ, God is with us.

Our Name

Why “Emmanuel”?

When the angel announced the birth of Jesus, he gave Him a name that means God with us (Matthew 1:23).

That promise shapes everything we do. God did not stay far away. He came near in Jesus, and by His Spirit He is still with His people today, in our worship, in our homes and in the hard seasons of life.

Because God is with us, we want to be a church that is with one another: bearing each other’s burdens, sharing meals, raising our children in the faith and serving our neighbors together.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.” Isaiah 41:10

  4. The ChurchThe church is a family of believers who care for, encourage and hold one another accountable.
  5. PeaceJesus calls us to love our enemies, to live peaceably with all and to be ministers of reconciliation.
